Vo Ta Hung, born in 1955 in Ha Tinh, is a member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and is known as one of the representative figures of contemporary Vietnamese graphic art. A graduate in Graphic Arts, he has devoted most of his creative life to exploring a visual language marked by a strong personal identity, combining traditional printmaking techniques with a modern visual sensibility.
His works are a harmonious blend of solid compositional structures and the natural rhythm of lines, expressing a profound perspective on people and the sun- and wind-swept homeland of Central Vietnam. Each artwork by Vo Ta Hung is a delicate slice of memory, where familiar scenes such as fields, villages, and hometown rivers are distilled into symbolic forms.
He favors subdued color palettes and restrained lighting to create a quiet, contemplative atmosphere that evokes intimacy and reflection. Through graphic art, Vo Ta Hung seeks the beauty of labor, of silence and perseverance—fundamental values that nurture the Vietnamese spirit.
